• Basic Pistol Safety and Shooting Course

    This Basic Pistol Safety Shooting Course is intended for those who do not have shooting experience or want to improve their pistol shooting skills. It's designed to educate the students on the basic knowledge of firearms, how to handle a firearm safely, and introduces techniques to practice defensive shooting.​


    Course Details:

    1. Gun safety rules
    2. Proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols
    3. Ammunition knowledge and selection
    4. Pistol selection and storage
    5. Shooting fundamentals --- Standing, Sight Alignment, Aiming, Breathing, Grip, Trigger Pull....
    6. Pistol inspection and maintenance
    7. Marksmanship, and shooting range safety

    The Course Length is 9 hours in one day with 3 parts, it includes:

    1. Classroom --- 2 hours Classroom teaching
    2. Virtual Range --- 2 hours Virtual range practice
    3. Live Range --- Lunch then go to live range, where we will spend 3-4 hours conducting live fire exercises. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized target shooting on the range with a Certified Instructor.

    The course size ranges from 6-10 students. Classes that do not have at least 6 students enrolled may be rescheduled.


    The Fee:

    $150.00 per student. This fee includes use of an SST provided handgun and ammunition, however students may bring their own handgun and ammunition for practice after qualifying.

    $50.00 deposit (non refundable) at booking. The balance must be paid before class starts. The deposit will be refunded if we cancel the class.


    Students must Bring:

    1. Eye and Ear Protection (available for purchase at SST)
    2. Wear close toed shoes
    3. Wear a brimmed cap (especially for female students)
    4. NO low cut tops and NO skirts for your own protection
